A shop in Massachussetts that offers shirts with a custom embroidered silhouette of your bike (you can even order your bike's color scheme) and text of your choosing.
Manufacturer of the RAM mount system. Cool, versatile methods for mounting GPS, radios, etc. on bikes and any other vehicle. You can't order directly from them, but they offer links to dozens of distributors (including BassPro Shops, the closest of which is at Arundel Mills on Route 100, just east of the B-W Parkway and southwest of BWI).

I just had an incredible experience ordering two Shoe helmets on line from the Helmet Shop in Daytona Beach, Florida. I am so pleased with the service that this is worth sharing with all of PARR.
After four years with the same helmet, I figured it was time to order new head gear. Unlike my first experience dealing with a local bike shop, I decided I would see if I could get a better price on the internet. WOW!! Did I ever get a better price.
First I visited a local dealer to make sure I was fitted with the proper size, as well as to check on the going price for the Shoei RF-900. As I recall, the price for a solid color helmet was well over $300. In addition to the full-face helmet, I also wanted a 3/4 helmet for those warm days when we're taking it easy in the country.
I stumbled across the Helmet Shop on line and their prices were excellent. For the RF-900 I paid all of $245 and for the RJA 3/4 helmet I dished out another $160. Shipping was another $16.00.
Unlike Amazon.com and other on-line stores, I did not receive an e-mail confirming my order--I had to print my order form on my own. Within days, however, I did receive an e-mail that my order was being shipped via UPS, with the estimated arrival date. As it turned out, the helmets arrived a day early and with no one home to accept with a signature I had to wait until the next day.
Both helmets arrived as ordered, both in Shoei boxes and with the RF-900 in a fairly decent cloth bag.
I encourage anyone planning to order a new helmet and who is uncertain of what size to order to get fitted at a local dealer before you place your order. Clearly, I am very pleased with the the service from the Helmet Shop.
Prices in the Helmet Shop web site are not readily apparent. You have to click on the msg, "Call for Price" and the price list actually will pop up on your screen. Want an Arai helmet? Sorry folks, but Arai now prohibits sales of their helmets on the internet--you'll just have to suck it up and pay full price if you're dead set on an Arai.
The Helmet Ship URL is: www.helmetshop.com.
If you're in the market for a new helmet, I think you'll be pleased.
Regards,
Ed
The homepage for NOAA's NWS. You can set up a customized local report, then save that page as a favorite and it'll load with the current local weather whenever you open it. Lots of good info without annoying pop-ups (like the Weather Channel's website). Navigation is a bit crude, but after you've poked around the site you'll find gobs of information.
