I would like to send a special “Thank You” to Ron, Dave, Mike, Matt and Wandee for attending and participating as bike judges at the Buffalo Soldiers Picnic. I had made this commitment at the 2003 Polar Bear Run event and it came to reality today with the great group of members within the Potomac Area Road Riders…..

I enjoyed the event and we lucked out with no rain. We should probably try to attend more of their functions.

I also agree with Matt. We should definitely make a showing at some of their events. I also think everyone should check out the next issue of Long Riders magazine as the club will be represented in it.

Thanks Ralph and fellow judges. I agree with your comments. I had a great time and the Buffalo Soldiers ran a top notch event and were great hosts!

Hey, why wait to go to their events? How about this for a suggestion--why don't we have our President invite their President to one of our meetings and let's discuss sharing an occasional ride or something--maybe even open up an overnighter to their members. This would be a great way to meet new people, make some new friends, possibly expand our membership, and to have even more fun with some folks who share similar interests. Okay, we know they like to ride--do they like to eat??!!?? Somehow I imagine they love to eat as much as we do. Just some thoughts.
