If anybody wants a Garmin format (.mps) file of the route let me know, I have it in NA City Nav 4.01 and can also rebuild it for the Metroguide database.
One correction, the route sheet shows "Chandler Mountain Road" at the end near the hotel, Navtech and web say it is Candlers Mountain Road.
Great route - wife is already considering riding the F650 rather than her croozer - last time I took her in those kinds of roads she got mad because I put her on too many dirt roads:o)
Evil, twisted mind? Yeah, I'll own up to that if I'm the Ed yer talkin about. On the other hand, I only worked on the initial route with Al back in January. After Al and I checked the route and made the first adjustments, Al rode the route a second time and later it was checked again by Dave Robinson. For all of the gorgeous scenary and the twisties and sweeps, you'll also have to thank Dave and Al. They really did the bulk of the work on the route.
Once we got the route confirmed, I took care of the packages you have received or will soon receive, reservations for the hotel, and the Saturday dinner. This has truly been a group effort I now realize I could not have done this alone. Al and Dave--THANKS!!!
My hat is off to Mike Wascak--I now have a far greater appreciation for the time and effort he has put into planning his rides in the past; I have tried to emulate his thoroughness. You have to try it once to understand what Mike has done.
