OK I didn't attend the trip planning meeting and I didn't plan any trips so the members who did have the right to tell me tough sh_t! I have been on all the trips in 2001 and 4 out of 6 in 2002 and most of the other overnight trips in the last three or four years. Endless Beach trip, could we swap dates with the Appomattox trip. A five day trip at the beginning of the year, in early April is very aggressive,it could very cold or it could be nice,but a five day trip is still long. The West Virginia trip, conflicts with Americade and the Endless Mountain trip is always the same weekend and conflicts with Honda Hoot.Could we move these trips up or back a week so that members don't have to make a choice between PAAR and Honda Hoot and Americade. The September trip is very aggressive and I doubt that may people will sign up for that trip,especially those of us who are not retired and have limited vacation time. We should have an alternate trip for September(3-4 days) and another trip in early October like we did this year. Just my 2 cents.
Regarding moving Endless Mountain to another weekend so it doesn't conflict with Honda Hoot.......... Most likely most will not do both since both would require time off from the old job. For most, it will still be a choice between PARR and Honda Hoot whether or not they are on the same weekend. However if this is not the case, I'd like to see some numbers of those who would do both if they were a week or two apart.

I would have preferred a slightly later date vice earlier date for the Appomatox Trip. This is the first trip that I, Dave Robinson, and Al Tennant are planning. Granted, it simply is a one night stand, but I would prefer the max time to plan this out. Just my thought.

I agree, the Endless Beach trip is a little early. I remember a trip to Kitty Hawk with GWRRA VA Chapter A. This was the first weekend of May. We rode into town Friday, right on the heels of a huge northeaster! It blew all through our weekend, there were no group rides. Those of us who did venture out alone on Saturday had a real adventure! There was sand everywhere on the road, plus the wind had me leaning into it at an angle, even while riding straight down the road. :P It was very cool (low 40's) and the wind wasn't making it much more enjoyable either. But then again, it was one weekend ride I'll never forget!
