I had ridden a bike about five years ago just before going to college. It was an old 250cc. I am now getting ready to ride again; it has been way too long that I have been on a bike and the itch is unbearable now!!
Anyway, I would like to purchase a used bike, something that I could learn off of and something that is in good condition. I am also pretty new to motorcycling and would like to have a mentor that could help me with selecting a bike, showing me how to care for it, and teaching me general stuff about this lifestyle. I know that there are a lot of you who are very experienced and I could learn a lot from you guys.

My wife, Phyllis, may have mentioned to you that our club is having a business meeting next Tuesday @ the JCC @ 7:30 PM. PARR has a lot of skilled riders and do various organizaed rides during the month, as you can see on some of the links in the home page. I would encourage you to become involved with our club if you would really like to learn more about bikes and riding. Then you would have a whole group of "mentors."
