Anyone ever file a claim with GEICO or Progressive? I've got the former, but got a much cheaper premium quote from the latter, but wondering if it's worth it. Got my quote at insweb.com, an interesting site recently mentioned in the Post.
Richard, I have Progressive and used to have Geico. Like you I found Progressive to be much cheaper because Geico really doesn't want the motorcycle business and Progressive does. I filed a claim with Progressive and was paid immediately. I think you are wise to do business with Progressive.

Richard, I have a Progressive policy, and can only speak about their service. My bike broke down in Dumfries this past summer, and I used their towing service to get the bike Powersports in Woodbridge. Both the Progressive agent and the tow service were prompt and efficient. I called on Sunday morning and the bike was towed that morning. Hope you never have to use their towing service, but I'm a fan.

Thanks, guys. This opens a new topic: motorcycle towing. As far as I know, this is offered by AMA (that's what I've got), GEICO, and Progressive. We've now got a testimonial for Progressive--anyone else have experience with motorcycle towing?
