PARR Application |

PARR membership is open to anyone interested in promoting and enjoying
motorcycling. PARR does not discriminate against any person on the basis of
race, religion, or gender. PARR welcomes riders of motorcycles
of all sizes, types, and makes under the following conditions.
Safety comes first in PARR. You and your motorcycle
must be capable of riding at posted road speeds under varying conditions. Your motorcycle
must be in good working order. The operation of your motorcycle's controls should
be second nature to you. PARR Riding Rules,
including formation, are used on group rides. PARR rides include challenging mountain
roads, with "twisties", "sweepers", and hairpin turns, as well as
"superslab," when necessary. Although PARR plans rides on safe, surfaced roads,
these roads present occasional hazards such as gravel, leaves, dogs, roadkill, debris, and
weather-related challenges such as rain and fog. You should be able to ride safely and
comfortably under these conditions.
If you are not yet ready to ride at this level but
would still like to pursue PARR membership, please ask about the PARR Mentor
Program. PARR has a limited number of members who have offered to mentor or coach
individuals to develop their riding skills. Just post a note on PARR
TALK asking for PARR Mentoring and stating your
experience, your general address and any other relevant
details. If a PARR Member can help, you will receive an
e-mail message. To join
PARR:

fee or bring it to your first meeting or PARR ride;
