On Sunday Marie and I are planning on taking a ride to visit the Land of Little Horses, just west of Gettysburg, PA. This 100 acre park features 80 ponies-including 45 genuine Falabells from Argentina, which stand 26 inches tall. Plus, an eclectic menagerie of other quirky animals, such as miniature cows, de-scented skunks and a crew of friendly potbellied pigs that race for Oreo cookies. How can you resist? We will depart the IHOP in Leesburg at 9:00AM and proceed N. via Rt.15. Just north of Frederick, MD we will take Rt.26 east to Rt.97 north to Gettysburg. From there its just a short ride on Rt. 30 to the park. It should be a fun and interesting ride to the park and a hoot while there. Admission is $7.00. If anyone is interested in joining us, please let me know. More info. on the park can be found at www.landoflittlehorses.com
My bike is in for service but if I get it back by Saturday and it's not raining on Sunday ,Kim(maybe) and I will join you.

Sounds good to me. I'll have to find the IHop. I have a couple of Valk items for you that I found this weekend. Spare parts that are good to have on hand.

ONLY IN AMERICA!! Heidi and I took Ilana to the Land of Little Horses a number of years ago. It has to be one of the all time great roadside Americana attractions in the immediate area. For a bunch of bikers it is sure to give everyone who rides a few laughs.
Al, I just rode through the 500 mile break-in period on the Road King so I'll probably ride with ya. Weather.com is predicting a cloudy day with only a 20 percent chance of rain. If the weather holds, I think I could manage a ride that day. I need a good laugh, some comaraderie, food, and a looooong ride. I had planned to head to NY this weekend, but Saturday still looks like crap so I'll be staying in the area.

Sorry I missed you guys, I was actually in the same general area visiting covered bridges. I have to learn to check this site before the weekend. Would have been nice to ride with you all up in my neck of the woods.
