I'm still having trouble accessing the PARR site due to the new bells and whistles. The site violates the security settings on my workstation (ActiveX prohibitions and cookies). Could the site be modified/simplified so all users can access it and not only those with current browsers or minimal security settings? About half of the time I get kicked out of the browser due to iexplore errors. I never had these problems with the old site due to its simplicity. The PARR site is the only one I have accessed that has caused these problems. I realize that the new site is a work in progress and appreciate the efforts that have been made but we may be missing potential new members due to these issues.
Other members have not reported any issues like the ones you have stated above....
Several questions....
1) Does your system use a Firewall? 2) Does your browser have java enabled? 3) What browser are you running? - version? 4) What are your Security Settings on your browser?
About simplicity? ...... "new bells and whistles", we have had over 3,100 people access the page since the end of October... these items you refer to as "bells and whistles" are there to make a member site.
I would like to hear from the rest of the membership on this... please reply to Chet's message.

I don't pretend to understand the causes of Chet's problems. I'll only say that I've had no problems getting around the site (that is once I figured our the homepage login). Al

Chet,
Reduce your Security Level and enable Java script, update your browser to Explorer 6.0. Also contract your administrator on your problem so they can adjust the firewall parameters.
Please note that PARR's Web is not doing anything out of the norm, I believe your problems are resulting from your computer settings and capabilities.

Hey Ralph: Not complaining, site is good, but, the only problem I am experiencing is not being able to access the "SPOKE ARCHIVES". I click on it on the front page and get the second page, with many items that I would like to see. When I click on say "Overnight Camping", etc, it doesn't show up. What am I doing wrong or are these no longer available. Great website other than this. Kevin

Kevin, The Cyber Spoke and related pages are from the old PARR Web page. We have a member who has volunteered and will revamp these pages but to date he has not started this effort. Stay tune......

Chet, Access the PARR Site from a non restrictive site such as your home computer.
